Does WayGIS replace the GIS we already use?

No. WayGIS is an interoperability layer: it connects to what exists, normalizes it and publishes it. Where systems genuinely overlap, that becomes visible — and consolidating turns into an informed decision rather than something the tool forces on you.

Which formats and sources can you integrate?

Vector (shapefile, GeoJSON, GeoPackage, PostGIS), raster and orthophotos, CAD drawings (DWG/DXF), relational databases and external OGC services. Unusual sources are assessed during the initial diagnosis, before any commitment.

Can the data stay on our own infrastructure?

Yes — and it is the only way WayGIS is installed: on-premise, on your infrastructure. There is no cloud edition managed by us; territorial data never leaves your perimeter.

How long until something is in production?

Assessment and the data model typically take the first weeks. A first set of priority layers published through compliant services is a realistic goal within the first quarter of the project — the full scope grows in phases.

Does it help us meet INSPIRE and open-data obligations?

Yes. The view and download services, metadata profiles and catalogue were built for that framework. Formal compliance also depends on your data and your own decisions, so we work it through together.

What if we need a capability the product does not have?

Waymotion is an engineering team, not just a licence vendor. Specific extensions are project scope, assessed and quoted transparently.
